The Spanish Air Force's EF-18 Hornet fighters remain exceptional aircraft, despite many years of service.

These fighters are very valuable works of technology, but the most important part is in the cockpit: the pilot. Behind each of the Air Force pilots there is a training process that lasts years of study and training in different types of aircraft. This training continues throughout each pilot's service period, and includes maintaining in good physical shape to be able to withstand the gravitational forces of some maneuvers.

Today the Air Force has published an interesting video in which one of those pilots, Captain Carmona, from Ala 15, explains the maneuvers carried out with his EF-18M (the C.15-21 15-08) during an air show, in which the aviator manages to get the most out of his plane and also of his own body (the video is in Spanish, you can activate the automatic subtitles in English in the bottom bar of the player):

By the way, this same plane is the one we saw a year ago in a video that explained the painting process of its colorful drifts, with a logo alluding to the 35th anniversary of the Wing 15, held in 2021.
