The images of the Spanish Armed Forces in the impressive aeronaval parade in Motril

The celebrations of the Day of the Armed Forces of Spain have begun today with an aeronaval parade carried out in Motril (Granada).

This aeronaval parade has been chaired by H.M. King Felipe VI aboard the Maritime Action Ship "Furor" P-46. Before him paraded the aircraft carrier "Juan Carlos I" L-61, the amphibious assault ships "Galicia" L-51 and "Castilla" L-52, the frigates "Almirante Juan De Borbón" F-102, "Cristóbal Colón" F-105, "Santa María" F‐81, "Victoria" F-82 and "Canarias" F-86, the minesweepers "Sella" M-32 and "Tambre" M-33, all of them from the Spanish Navy, and the ocean-going vessels "Río Segura" and "Río Arlanza" of the Maritime Service of the civil Guard.

Likewise, in the aeronaval parade we have been able to see an EC-665 Tigre attack helicopter and a CH-47 Chinook heavy transport helicopter from the Spanish Army Air Mobile Forces (FAMET); EAB-8B+ Harrier II Plus fighters and SH-60B and SH-60F Seahawk helicopters from the Navy Aircraft Flotilla (FLOAN); Eurofighter Typhoon fighters, maritime surveillance aircraft CN‐235 VIGMA and NH-90 Lobo and Sikorsky S-76 helicopters of the Spanish Air Force; and a CN-235 plane and AS-365 Dauphin and EC-135 helicopters from the Civil Guard Air Service.

Next, Felipe VI went to Poniente Beach, where an exhibition took place with the Parachute Aerobatic Patrol (PAPEA) and the Patrulla Aspa of the Spanish Air Force, different units of the Civil Guard (both from its Maritime Service and the Air Service and the Special Intervention Unit, UEI); Leopard 2E main battle tanks of the Armored Regiment "Córdoba" no. 10, ASCOD Pizarro infantry combat vehicles of the Infantry Regiment "La Reina" no. 2 and VAMTACs ST-5 of the X Sapper Battalion, units belonging to the Brigade "Guzmán el Bueno" X of the Spanish Army.

Finally, the Tercio de Armada has made an amphibious demonstration with troops and mechanized means, with the support of the Harrier II of the 9th Navy Squadron. You can see here a series of photos of these acts published by the Ministry of Defense and the Royal House .
