On the night of June 23 to 24, Galicia celebrates the traditional bonfires of Saint John, which welcome summer.
This year I was able to take some long exposure photos of Vigo's beaches during this celebration. Here we see Samil beach, the most famous in the city and the busiest tonight.
Here is an enlargement of the photo. The beach was crowded with people. Parking in the entire area of the beach was an impossible mission.
Here we see Vao beach, in the parish of Corujo. I was calmer. The Moon appears in the image over the island of Toralla.
And here my favourite, the Little Mermaid beach, also known as Fontaíña beach. There were only two small fires and a very pleasant peace reigned.
I wish you all a happy summer! Of course, here you will have me posting things about very different places.
