This year is the 110th anniversary of aviation in the Canary Islands and the Air Force has celebrated it with two air festivals there.
The two festivals were organized by the Canary Islands Air Command. On October 29, the las Canteras beach of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria was the scene of the first of these festivals, in which the Parachuting Acrobatic Patrol of the Air Force participated strong> (PAPEA) and the Patrulla Águila with their CASA C-101 Aviojet training aircraft.
The second festival was held last Sunday on the Las Teresitas beach in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, again with the two aforementioned acrobatic patrols. The Fighter Community has published a high quality video, in 4K, about the formidable exhibition of the Águila Patrol in Tenerife. I recommend turning up the volume to enjoy the sound:
