The formidable display of the Patrulla Águila at a festival of the Canary Islands Air Command
ESThis year is the 110th anniversary of aviation in the Canary Islands and the Air Force has celebrated it with two air festivals there.
The two festivals were organized by the Canary Islands Air Command. On October 29, the las Canteras beach of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria was the scene of the first of these festivals, in which the Parachuting Acrobatic Patrol of the Air Force participated strong> (PAPEA) and the Patrulla Águila with their CASA C-101 Aviojet training aircraft.
The second festival was held last Sunday on the Las Teresitas beach in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, again with the two aforementioned acrobatic patrols.
