The debate table pointed out the government's responsibility in that crime

'Horizonte', the great gesture of a TV program for two murdered civil guards

Last week, Spain was shocked by the murder of two civil guards by drug traffickers in Barbate (Cádiz).

Sánchez ordered official mourning for a French socialist but not for two civil guards
The favors of the left to drug trafficking and their bloody result for the Spanish Civil Guard

The government has not even declared official mourning for those murdered.

A crime like that should give rise to a public tribute to the two murdered, who were two officials of our Security Forces who have died in the line of duty. Inexplicably, after declaring a day of official mourning for a French socialist two weeks ago, the coalition government of socialists and communists has not declared any official mourning for those murdered civil guards, who have lost their lives serving to his homeland.

The ruinous opposition of the socialists to the minutes of silence for those two civil guards

As if this miserable attitude were not enough, which comes to us in the midst of a wave of criticism of the government for leaving without resources the civil guards who fight against drug trafficking in the south of Spain, in recent days we have attended with perplexity to the refusal of the socialists in Navarra and Catalonia to observe minutes of silence for the two murdered, a refusal with which the Socialist Party (PSOE) aligns itself with the attitude anti-system of its separatist allies, who have never hidden their hatred of the Civil Guard.

'Horizonte' dedicates a minute of silence to the two civil guards

After seeing things as outrageous as those I just mentioned, it is comforting to see how the program "Horizonte" by Iker Jiménez began its broadcast yesterday, on channel Cuatro, with all the members of the table standing at attention, maintaining a minute of silence for the murdered civil guards, whose photos appeared on the screens in the background: David Pérez Carracedo (left) , member of the Rapid Action Group (GAR), and Miguel Ángel González Gómez (right), member of the Group of Specialists in Underwater Activities (GEAS). Here is the video of that moment:

Many thanks to Iker Jiménez and the other members of the board for this tribute to two men who have been murdered in the line of duty, a tribute that the government has not wanted to give them, even prohibiting the civil guards from attending the minutes of silence for their murdered colleagues, which is the height of infamy.

The issues that arose in the debate: Marlaska, Sánchez and Morocco

It must also be said that in the initial discussion of the program, dedicated to that crime, very significant data was provided by a representative of an association of civil guards, data that points to the lack of means that the Civil Guard suffers in its fight against drug trafficking in the south of Spain. Several members of the gathering called for the resignation of the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, due to his clear responsibility for this lack of means.

Furthermore, during the conversation an issue that I already pointed out here: Morocco's relationship with what happened, and specifically, the influence of that Islamic monarchy with the inexplicable decision by Marlaska from dissolve in 2022 an elite unit made up of 150 civil guards that was achieving great successes in the fight against drug trafficking. Morocco is the first producer of hashish in the world and in 2021 cannabis was legalized, from which hashish is derived.

At the program discussion table it was also recalled that it was also in 2022 when Pedro Sánchez changed Spain's position on Western Sahara, siding with Morocco in its claim to that former province Spanish, against the UN criteria. Another fact that emerged in the program is that that same year was when it was learned that Sánchez's cell phone had been spied on, a case in which all suspicions are directed towards Morocco. The obvious question is: is Sánchez governing at the dictate of Rabat because of some blackmail from Morocco derived from that espionage?
