Stirring up hatred against Jews to hide the wave of corruption of the socialists

There are countries around the world with different religious beliefs. The most numerous are the confessionally Islamic states.

Who is pulling the strings behind the false accusation of 'genocide' against Israel?

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has 57 member countries. Among them are six countries that punish homosexuality with the death penalty. Furthermore, and although this does not seem to matter to many Western politicians and media, 35 of those 57 countries are part of the list of 50 countries that most persecute Christians in the world. This persecution includes, in some cases, the death penalty for Muslims who convert to Christianity, something that is planned in 12 Islamic countries that are members of the OIC.

Furthermore, in the vast majority of these countries women suffer all kinds of discrimination, with extremes such as that of Iran, where a woman named Mahsa Amini was arrested, tortured and murdered for not wearing a veil three years ago. In Iran, the Islamist dictatorship has executed hundreds of opponents this year without the far left organizing a single protest demonstration, nor even mild criticism from many leftist organizations.

In this diverse world, there is only one Jewish state: Israel. That state was formed, to a large extent, by survivors of one of the greatest genocides of the 20th century: the Holocaust, a genocide in which Islam collaborated with the Nazis to promote the extermination of Jews. The State of Israel was formed in 1948 by decision of the UN, from the British Mandate of Palestine, in which Christians, Jews, and Muslims coexisted. The UN approved the partition of that territory: one part for the Jews and another for the Arabs. The Arab countries and the Arabs of that territory, which was predominantly Muslim, refused.

In the following decades, Arab countries attempted to destroy the State of Israel several times, suffering one military defeat after another. The Arab countries did not cease to exist because of these defeats. For Israel, a single military defeat would have meant its disappearance as a country and a new extermination of Jews at the hands of the same Muslim fanatics who supported the nazis in the Holocaust.

One of the latest attempts to destroy the State of Israel was the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023. This Islamist terrorist group, supported by Iran, perpetrated the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, but as had been happening since Israel's independence, the Western left did not call for a single protest against these crimes of genocide perpetrated by Hamas, crimes that sought the extermination of Jewish civilians.

As I pointed out here two days ago, to whitewash and justify this anti-Semitic massacre Islamism launched a slanderous hoax accusing Israel of "genocide", a nauseating accusation against a country that has precisely suffered the crimes of genocide perpetrated by Hamas. The Western far left has actively collaborated in the dissemination of this hoax through its strategic alliance with Islamism, with which it shares its hatred for Western culture, a hatred that explains its hatred of Jews, whose culture, like Christianity, is part of the roots of the West.

The Spanish government of Pedro Sánchez, a coalition of socialists (PSOE) and communists (Sumar), openly supports this hoax, but it does so not only for ideological reasons, although prejudices carry a great deal of weight. For months now, the government has been hit by a wave of corruption scandals. Among those investigated for various corruption offenses are Sánchez's wife and brother, his attorney general, one of his former ministers, and his party's former organizational secretary. It's very likely that we'll soon see the Socialist Party investigated for illegal financing, which was the excuse the party used against its rivals to present the no-confidence motion that brought Sánchez to power in 2018.

Sánchez is in desperate straits and is likely to be investigated himself. His party, the PSOE, is suffering a slump in the polls and internal discontent is growing. Sánchez himself is clearly showing physical deterioration as a result of this situation, which indicates that he is being overwhelmed by corruption scandals. But if Sánchez has proven anything, it is that he is an unscrupulous politician, capable of doing anything to please his desires. So far, he has attacked and harassed judges and media outlets critical of the government, trampled on the Constitution, granted a scandalous amnesty to his parliamentary partners, and sought the support of a party that does not condemn the 853 murders perpetrated by ETA terrorists, all to remain in power at any price.

In this situation, Sánchez is attacking and demonizing Israel to distract attention from socialist corruption and to try to mobilize left-wing voters, especially those most dissatisfied with socialist corruption. This campaign of distraction is directly affecting Spanish Jews, who are increasingly suffering from the hate campaign fueled by the left, not only against Israel but against Judaism in general. In July, the Spanish Antisemitism Observatory reported a 321% increase in antisemitic incidents in Spain, but the government has shown no interest in stopping this wave of hatred. After all, it is being promoted by the left and its Islamist allies and serves Sánchez to cover up his scandals.

The attacks on the Israeli team at the Vuelta a España, attacks encouraged by the government itself and by its parliamentary partners in Bildu and which include attempts to disrupt sporting events, are an example of what Sánchez and his partners are capable of doing to cover up corruption scandals, using Israel and the Jews as scapegoats. This explains a shameful fact: Spain has the only government in Europe that supports disrupting sporting events simply because a team representing a democratic country attacked by Islamist terrorists is participating, a country that exercises its right to defend itself while wretches like Sánchez slander those attacked as a distraction so that people don't talk about his corruption.

Sánchez not only deserves to be brought to trial for his abuses of power, which reveal his distorted concept of democracy and his contempt for the most basic principles of a state governed by the rule of law, but also for setting fire to our coexistence and unleashing a wave of hatred against a religious minority that is peaceful, that does not cause problems, that is fully integrated into Spanish society and that has already had to suffer in the past from fanatics who used it as a scapegoat. Fanatics who also called themselves "socialists."
