Iranian and Hezbollah flags in an attack on La Vuelta encouraged by the government and Bildu

Yesterday, the far left once again expressed its commitment to violence and anti-Semitism in the Spanish city of Bilbao.

Spain: a Sánchez minister attends a march organized by an antisemitic terrorist group

The stage of the Vuelta a España that took place in that city was disrupted by protesters carrying Palestinian flags, but not only that. As can be seen in the RTVE Deportes video (point 4:04), the violent group that disrupted the race, largely thanks to the inaction of the Basque Police (controlled by the PNV separatists), included a flag of the Islamist dictatorship of Iran:

On the other hand, in a video published by Eldiario.es, a far-left media outlet aligned with Pedro Sánchez's government, we see images recorded from within that group and in them we can see the flag of the Iranian dictatorship and also a flag of Hezbollah, a criminal group that appears on the European list of terrorist organizations:

This violent attack against a sporting event, using a false accusation of "genocide" against a democratic country that two years ago was attacked by terrorists (in the worst massacre suffered by the Jewish people since the Holocaust), has not been spontaneous nor uncontrolled: has been encouraged and supported by Bildu and by the communist wing of Pedro Sánchez's government Sanchez.

Bildu's links to Palestinian terrorism

Bildu's move is no surprise. This far-left separatist party does not condemn the 853 murders perpetrated by ETA (including 22 children and babies), nor any of the kidnappings, extortions, threats, and other crimes committed by the terrorist organization over the decades. Two years ago, Bildu also refused to condemn Hamas's terrorist attack on Israel (in which entire families were burned alive in their homes, women were tortured and raped, and scores of people were kidnapped, including children) and even refused to label Hamas as a "terrorist".

A month after that anti-Semitic massacre, Bildu organized a demonstration in Bilbao announcing the participation of the PFLP (Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine), a far-left criminal organization that also appears on the European list of terrorist organizations. As with other groups involved in organized crime, PFLP terrorists have the support of the Iranian dictatorship, which met with one of the top leaders of that group in Tehran in June.

The Spanish government's ties to PFLP terrorists

From the Spanish government, Vice President Yolanda Díaz and Minister Sira Rego have also supported this violent protest. Seeing members of the government openly support a violent attack on a sporting event is something that has never happened before in Spain. Coincidentally, both Díaz and Rego are members of the Communist Party of Spain (PCE), a party that declares itself a sister party with the PFLP terrorists. Let us remember that in January 2024, Rego attended a march in Madrid called by the PFLP, becoming the first person in a Spanish government to support a march by an organization classified as terrorist by the European Union, despite which the government authorized the call.

Thus, Spain has the only government in the European Union with links to Palestinian terrorism (something that should lead to harsh sanctions from the European Commission against Pedro Sánchez's cabinet) and which also encourages and supports acts of violence against sporting events simply because an Israeli team participated. Once again, what is becoming clear is that Spain does not have a normal government: what it has is a gang that acts like a mafia, supporting violent methods against those it does not like and associating with organized crime. This government not only tarnishes Spain's international image, but is a danger to the Spanish people, as was once again evident yesterday.
