Izyum: a route of the ruins of a Ukrainian city invaded by the Russians

The images of the crimes of the Russian army in Izyum: Russia must pay for this
Exploring in a war zone: the landscape after a battle in a forest in Ukraine

The city of Izyum, in the Kharkiv region, was occupied by Russian troops at the beginning of the invasion that began on February 24, 2022. The city was liberated on February 11, 2022. September, in the Ukrainian counteroffensive launched last summer. A few days later, pits were discovered with hundreds of corpses of men, women and children who were tortured and killed by the Russians. Many of the bodies had their hands tied and marks of point-blank shots. The images of those tombs and the corpses went around the world and showed the war crimes committed by the invaders.

However, those crimes have not been limited to the findings of those graves. As has happened in other parts of Ukraine, the Russians attacked residential areas of Izyum, leaving much of the city in ruins. The Kraken Special Unit of the Ukrainian Army has released a video today touring these ruins and showing the damage done by the invaders:

You can see here some captures of the video. Hopefully those responsible for these crimes are tried and receive what they deserve.
