Madrid: Russian propagandist describes the organizers of a pro-Russian march as 'fascists'

The pro-Russian marches organized yesterday in various cities around the world had a comic drift in the case of the one called in Madrid.

The organizers threatened the propagandist with notifying the Police

The incident was related to the presence of Liu Sivaya, a Russian propagandist residing in Spain, at the head of the demonstration, in front of the initial banner. When she had been broadcasting the call for a little over half an hour, a member of the organization approached Sivaya to tell her: "a conflict is brewing with you and the organization asks you to please remove yourself of the head, otherwise the Police will be notified for not respecting the guidelines of the organization." Sivaya, dressed in a military cap with the red star and the hammer and sickle, took the request very badly: "they are trying to remove me from the demonstration ", she said her to the closest people.

"In the end you are more fascists than those you denounce"

Sivaya, who was carrying the portrait of a Colombian who died in the Ukraine fighting on the side of the Russian invaders, exclaimed: "you are putting on a pitiful show." And she was not lacking reason: the march displayed flags of a country, Russia, whose army is invading and committing all kinds of atrocities in Ukraine, as well as a totalitarian movement, communism, that has murdered millions of people, in large-scale crimes of genocide that have even been condemned by a resolution of the European Parliament.

Visibly upset, Sivaya ended up reproaching the organizers: "In the end you are more fascists than those you denounce". The incident can be seen in the live video published by the company itself. The incident sparked jokes and laughter on social media

This incident spread on Twitter yesterday and has generated comments and jokes of all kinds. "Liu is so disgusting that even the organization that called the Immoral Regiment demonstration wants him to be seen as little as possible", commented a tweeter who supports Ukraine. In the same Twitter thread there are emoticons with laughter.

Sivaya has spent more than a year repeating the slogans of the Kremlin and twisting reality to present the invaders as the good guys and the invaded as the bad guys. What this propagandist lacked was to call the organizers of a march full of communist flags "fascists." The incident that occurred yesterday at the pro-Russian march seems like something out of the Monty Python movie "Life of Brian". All we have to do is hear the shouts of "dissidents".

A march in support of those who do not allow to demonstrate against the war in Russia

For my part, all I can do is repudiate that a march like this has been held in Spain, while Russia continues to attack the Ukrainian people and murder civilians in that country. It must also be remembered that while these Russian propagandists demonstrate freely in Madrid, in Russia those who demonstrate against the war are arrested and sent to prison. It is nauseating that Putin's defenders invoke in Spain freedom of expression while that dictator tramples it on a daily basis in Russia.
