This afternoon a new rally in support of Israel was held in Madrid, this time in the Plaza de las Cortes, in front of Congress.
On this occasion, the call of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Spain (FCJE) and other Jewish associations had as its motto "For the release of the hostages kidnapped by the terrorist organization Hamas". During the event, the photos and names of these hostages were shown on a screen: almost 200 men, women, children and babies that the Spanish extreme left does not remember.
Relatives of victims of the terrorist attack on Israel were present at the event, and cries of protest were heard against the complicit attitude with Hamas of some of Pedro Sánchez's ministers. At the rally, the "Hatikva", the National Anthem of Israel, was sung, and ended with the chords of the National Anthem of Spain, amidst applause.
