A maneuver that is part of the dark triad that he exhibits as a politician

The episode of 'The Simpsons' that explains Pedro Sánchez's victimizing maneuver

For several days now, Spain has been subjected to a manipulation session that we could summarize as emotional pornography.

The real reason for Sánchez's victimizing letter using his wife as an excuse
A cocktail of mafia, sect and phrenopathic: the North Korean drift of Spanish socialism

Manipulating a society that denies rationality

If sexual pornography is the exhibition for profit of sexual acts that should remain in the realm of intimacy, we could define emotional pornography as the exhibition of supposed or even false emotions in order to obtain a profit. It is a much more widespread form of pornography than that and is often used to manipulate other people.

In fact, today emotional pornography has become one of the most effective tools of political manipulation in a society that seems to deny rationality, that is, the ability to think based on rational arguments.

'The Simpsons' broke that emotional pornography very well

An American television series, The Simpsons, parodied this emotional pornography very well in the ninth episode of its sixth season. Homer Simpson is falsely accused of harassing a girl. A television show tries to present Homer as a depraved person by inviting several women who had not had anything to do with him. No evidence or facts are provided against him, but a woman appears crying in front of the cameras and the presenter states: "That's OK: your tears say more than real evidence ever could."

Resorting to victimhood to become untouchable

That episode serves to explain what the socialist Pedro Sánchez has done with his victim letter after a court initiated proceedings against his wife for possible crimes of influence peddling and corruption. Sánchez presented himself as a man "in love" with his wife and emotionally affected by what happened, so he gave himself five days of vacation to reflect on whether he resigns or not. It is a more than obvious display of emotional pornography.

The propagandists of the Spanish left have been contributing for days to creating this false image of Sánchez as a poor victim of a ruthless right, a right that would mix the political opposition, the media and judges in what The socialist leader himself described it as "a coalition of right-wing and far-right interests", a conspiracy theory to demonize his political rivals, the free media and Justice to try to convince us of a perverse and evil idea. unacceptable in a democracy: the idea that Sánchez and his wife should be untouchable and above the law.

The dark triad of Pedro Sánchez

This emotional pornography is part of the alarming personality traits that Sánchez has been exhibiting, traits that some have identified with the dark triad, as that dangerous cocktail that is known in psychology to the mixture of narcissism, machiavellianism and psychopathy. Sánchez is a politician in love with himself, who believes that his desires come before anything else. He is also a politician who has demonstrated few scruples when it comes to achieving his goals , attacking judicial independence, repeatedly violating the Constitution and seriously threatening the rule of law. Furthermore, he has demonstrated a brutal lack of empathy not only with his political rivals, but with all Spaniards, putting his personal interest above the common good to such an extent that it seems to confuse Spain with a private property.

He has not condemned any of the attacks against Vox

These alarming personality traits have been captured in his reaction to the wave of attacks against Vox unleashed by the extreme left in 2018. In all the years that we have had democracy in Spain, never has an opposition party been subjected to a wave of violence like that, except for that suffered by the democrats at the hands of the ETA terrorists. Deputies, members and sympathizers of Vox have been attacked in the most varied ways, and the headquarters of that conservative party have suffered constant attacks.

This wave of violence has now lasted six years, and in all this time Sánchez and his government have not condemned a single one of these attacks. Not only have they refused to make that gesture so basic for a democrat, but also all their efforts have been directed at demonizing those attacked and subjecting them to an anti-democratic cordon as if they were plagued, thus feeding the wave of violence against them.

In April 2021, four years ago now, something happened that had not happened in decades of democracy in Spain: members of the government justifying attacks against members of the opposition, accusing the attacked to "provoke" their attackers, the old miniskirt argument that blames raped women for the aggression suffered. Sánchez never criticized this infamy. We did not see him then appeal to sentimentality, not even to the slightest notion of decency.

He has agreed with those who do not condemn ETA's terrorism

His insensitive attitude towards the violence against Vox is not, however, the most perverse gesture of that unscrupulous politician: Sánchez has had no qualms about agreeing with Bildu, a party that refuses to condemn ETA's terrorism, a criminal gang that has murdered 853 people, including 22 children. A few months ago, he went a step further and your government allowed a terrorist group, the FPLP, to call a march in Madrid, without caring about the fact that that organization appears on the list of groups terrorists of the European Union.

Those who should come to the fore to denounce the mistreatment suffered are the victims of ETA whom Sánchez has betrayed, the attacked political rivals to whom he did not give even the slightest gesture of support and, in general, all Spaniards, that we have seen how this government trampled on democracy, ruined our economy and allied itself with those who carry hatred of Spain and Freedom as their flag, leaving us with an increasingly poorer and less free country because the only thing that matters in this life is clinging to power at any price.
