Ten purposes for the cause of Spain, life and freedom in the year 2024

We start a new year and it's time to make plans. I am going to explain ten purposes that Counting Stars will have in 2024.

These purposes have to do with the causes that this blog defends, especially with the defense of Spain, with the defense of life and with the defense of freedom, and they will serve as guidance for Contando Estrelas in the next 12 months:

1. To continue denouncing the socialist coup to the rule of law in Spain, perpetrated by the most corrupt government in our democratic history, and continue pointing out its attacks on national unity, the Constitution, judicial independence, human dignity and our freedoms.
2. To continue to report any abuse of power committed by any politician, regardless of their party, with the independence that has characterized this website since its inception.
3. To continue defending the cause of life against atrocious crimes such as abortion and euthanasia, whose social acceptance is one of the greatest shames of our time. There is no room for half measures against these crimes and the laws that promote them: I am an abolitionist.
4. To continue to denounce the persecution of Christians and other religious communities in the world, especially the Jewish community, which is suffering a wave of antisemitism unprecedented since World War II.
5. To continue defending the cause of freedom in the face of the numerous attacks it suffers. This cause includes freedom of education, religious freedom, ideological freedom, linguistic freedom, freedom of information, freedom of speech and economic freedom, some freedoms that are increasingly threatened by the leftist fanaticism, gender ideology, political correctness and separatism that we suffer in Spain.
6. To continue supporting, from my independence, the only real political opposition left in Spain, Vox, a party of which I am not a member but which has the courage to defend in the institutions the same principles that I have been defending in Counting Stars since before the founding of that party.
7. To continue denouncing totalitarianisms, and specifically the last one that still enjoys great power today, communism, an anti-democratic and criminal movement that during the last century has murdered millions of people and has sunk countries entire in oppression and misery. This cause also includes the denunciation of Islamic extremism, which is one of the greatest threats facing Western civilization.
8. To continue supporting the cause of Ukraine against the Russian invasion, so that the Ukrainian people can finally expel the invaders and regain control of all the territories occupied by the dictatorship of Vladimir Putin.
9. To continue supporting the cause of Israel in its fight against Palestinian terrorism, a terrorism that on October 7 perpetrated the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. Israel fights alone in a war in which it represents Judeo-Christian civilization against the Islamist barbarity of Hamas.
10. To continue supporting a Nation that I admire, Poland, whose government has unfortunately fallen into the hands of the same political currents that have led Spain to a critical situation. The Polish conservatives have a long road ahead of them and for my part I will continue to support them as before. Furthermore, I will continue to vindicate the history and culture of Poland, a country that has been a reference for those of us who reject totalitarianism, for those of us who defend the Christian roots of Europe and for those of us who support an alternative to ideological hegemony. from the left.
