Once again, the radical left has exhibited its cynicism and double standards

Three months since Hamas attacked Israel and three masks that the far-left has lost

This January 7 marks three months since the attack by the Islamist terrorist group Hamas against Israel, perpetrated on October 7, 2023.

The terrible images of civilians, including babies and children, murdered by Hamas
Yesterday Poland, today Israel: the antisemitic extreme left reissues its alliance with the nazis

In that attack, terrorists killed about 1,200 people (859 were civilians), wounded more than 7,000 and they kidnapped 240, in addition to torturing and raping many of the victims in the most atrocious ways. Among those killed, injured and kidnapped are people of all ages, including children and babies. This Palestinian aggression has also caused the displacement of some 200,000 citizens of Israel, who have had to be evacuated from the highest risk areas. Since its independence in 1948, Israel has already suffered several invasions by its Arab neighbors, but this attack has been especially serious, as it was the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.

As was predictable, given its tendency to support all kinds of terrorists and tyrants, the extreme left has aligned itself with Palestinian terrorism and has once again exhibited its blatant anti-Semitism, cynically disguised as "anti-Zionism" so that it provokes less rejection. In these three months we have seen left-wing extremists acting as what they really are: the new nazis, totalitarians who feel a visceral hatred against the Jewish people and who are willing to support the worst criminals to end the only Jewish State in the world.

In this display of hatred towards Israel, and as has happened other times, the extreme left has lost three of its favorite masks:

  • The mask of feminism. During their attack against Israel, Hamas terrorists kidnapped, tortured and raped women, with a viciousness that highlights the extreme cruelty and inhumanity of the Palestinian terrorists. However, there has not been a single feminist demonstration to condemn these crimes. Left-wing feminism in general has remained silent, and far-left feminism has not only remained silent in the face of these crimes, but has taken the side of the rapists.
  • The mask of anti-racism. The extreme left has been using the card of anti-racism in a very cynical way for years, systematically describing the right as "racist" for the most ridiculous reasons, but when it comes to The truth is, in the face of the worst anti-Jewish pogrom of the 21st century, the extreme left has sided with the antisemites.
  • The mask of pacifism. Left-wing extremists often disguise their political positions by presenting themselves as pacifists. When they criticized NATO for supporting Ukraine against the Russian invasion, the excuse used was precisely that pacifism. Now, once again, they have exhibited this cynical pretext to pretend that the people of Israel cannot defend themselves when they are attacked, just as they did before with the Ukrainian people. Once again, they have shown that they do not care about wars when the aggressors are tyrants like Vladimir Putin or terrorists like Hamas or Hezbollah. They don't want peace, what they want is for free countries like Ukraine and Israel to not be able to defend themselves if they are attacked.

Faced with this anti-Semitic left, friendly to terrorists and tyrants, I can only reaffirm once again my support for the people and the State of Israel, the only real democracy in the Middle East, a people who have decades suffering the hatred of neighbors who simply do not tolerate the presence of the Jewish people in a land that has been their home for more than 3,000 years.
