This January 7 marks three months since the attack by the Islamist terrorist group Hamas against Israel, perpetrated on October 7, 2023.
In that attack, terrorists killed about 1,200 people (859 were civilians), wounded more than 7,000 and they kidnapped 240, in addition to torturing and raping many of the victims in the most atrocious ways. Among those killed, injured and kidnapped are people of all ages, including children and babies. This Palestinian aggression has also caused the displacement of some 200,000 citizens of Israel, who have had to be evacuated from the highest risk areas. Since its independence in 1948, Israel has already suffered several invasions by its Arab neighbors, but this attack has been especially serious, as it was the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.
As was predictable, given its tendency to support all kinds of terrorists and tyrants, the extreme left has aligned itself with Palestinian terrorism and has once again exhibited its blatant anti-Semitism, cynically disguised as "anti-Zionism" so that it provokes less rejection. In these three months we have seen left-wing extremists acting as what they really are: the new nazis, totalitarians who feel a visceral hatred against the Jewish people and who are willing to support the worst criminals to end the only Jewish State in the world.
In this display of hatred towards Israel, and as has happened other times, the extreme left has lost three of its favorite masks:
Faced with this anti-Semitic left, friendly to terrorists and tyrants, I can only reaffirm once again my support for the people and the State of Israel, the only real democracy in the Middle East, a people who have decades suffering the hatred of neighbors who simply do not tolerate the presence of the Jewish people in a land that has been their home for more than 3,000 years.
