The result of rewarding Palestinian terrorism for murdering Jews

Sydney: The bloody fruits of the infamous antisemitic drift of the socialist left

This Sunday, anti-Semitic terrorism has once again caused a massacre, this time on the famous Bondi beach in Sydney.

October 7: a sick society that swallows the lies of some nazis, once again
The terrible images of civilians, including babies and children, murdered by Hamas

Two Islamists armed with shotguns opened fire on a crowd celebrating the first day of Hanukkah on that beach. They murdered 11 people and injured dozens more. One of the attackers was killed. This is clearly another terrorist attack motivated by antisemitism, reminiscent of the massacre perpetrated by Hamas against Israel on October 7, 2023: the largest antisemitic massacre since the Holocaust.

After the massacre two years ago, the world had a great opportunity to send a resounding message against antisemitism. Some governments had the decency to support the attacked country (the only true democracy in the Middle East) and to reject any kind of reward for the terrorists. Unfortunately, some governments, especially those of the socialist left, decided to reward antisemitic terrorism by recognizing a Palestinian state as a result of that massacre perpetrated by Palestinian terrorists. In doing so, they sent an infamous message: that murdering Jews is profitable.

One of the governments that did this was the left-wing government of Australia, belonging to the Labor Party (ALP), a socialist party that has acted just like other governments of that ideological persuasion. On August 11, 2025, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced his recognition of the Palestinian state, stating: "Australia’s decision helps build the historic global momentum to break the cycle of violence in the Middle East." In truth, this decision not only had no impact in the Middle East, but it also brought antisemitic violence to Australia, with the bloody result we see today.

As if that weren't enough, today, when it was already clear that the Bondi terrorist attack had antisemitic motivations, Albanese published a shameful statement that made no mention of either Jews or antisemitism. The statement has been met with widespread condemnation. From Israel, Diaspora Minister Amichai Chikli responded to Albanese with a message stating: "A government that normalized boycotts against Jews solely because they are Jewish, normalized marches in which flags of Al-Qaeda and Hamas were openly displayed, and for two years failed to act decisively against serious antisemitic incidents, bears full responsibility for the horrific scenes we witnessed today."

The same can be said of Spain's leftist government. The socialist Pedro Sánchez has been slandering the State of Israel following the Hamas terrorist attacks of October 7, 2023, falsely accusing the Jewish state of "genocide," an infamous accusation that he has never leveled against Vladimir Putin's dictatorship for its numerous crimes against the Ukrainian people.

Three months ago, the Sánchez government encouraged a violent anti-Semitic boycott of the Vuelta a España cycling race, resulting in 22 police officers being injured, in protest against the presence of an Israeli team. Sánchez and his party, the PSOE, govern in coalition with a communist party that is twinned with a Palestinian terrorist and anti-Semitic group. We must remember that a minister in Sánchez's government even justified Hamas's antisemitic attack against Israel, stating on the day of the attack that "Palestine has the right to resist after decades of occupation, apartheid, and exile." Likewise, in January of last year, Sánchez's government authorized a march by a Palestinian terrorist group in Madrid, march that Minister Sira Rego supported with her presence.

After all that, today Sánchez commented on the Sydney terrorist attack with these words: "We strongly condemn the anti-Semitic attack in Australia. We must work tirelessly to eradicate anti-Semitism and terrorism. They have no place in our society." Words laden with hypocrisy and cynicism. With his actions, Sánchez, like Albanese and other leftist governments, has contributed to fueling antisemitism and violence against Jews. The blood spilled today in Bondi is the result.
