The Kremlin has spent years trying to attract parties favorable to its positions in all the countries of Europe. In some it has been more successful than in others.
In June, the NGO VoteWatch Europe published a report on the position of European political parties in relation to Russia in the European Parliament. The report was limited to those parties with at least two MEPs (for this reason, in the case of Spain, it omitted parties that are usually favorable to Russian foreign policy, such as the BNG and EH Bildu). The study detected a special affinity of the extreme left towards Russia in almost all countries. Likewise, it pointed out the members of the European People's Party (PPE) and the Group of European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) as the most opposed to Russia.
The report can be read here (see PDF). Likewise, the study was accompanied by an interactive map that revealed that the most pro-Russian countries in Europe are France (55.59% of votes against Russia), Greece (56.1%) and Ireland (65.71%). At the opposite pole, the interactive map indicated that the countries most opposed to Russia are Poland (94.87% of votes against Russia), Lithuania (88.81 %) and Romania (87.82%). Coincidentally, all three suffered from communist dictatorships imposed from Moscow. In fact, the greatest hostility towards Russia is detected in the former countries of the Soviet orbit.
You can see below a list of the most pro-Russian parties in each member country of the European Union. An asterisk (*) indicates those countries in which no party has less than 50% of the vote against Russia. In these countries, the party that has voted the fewest times against Russia is simply indicated, together with to your percentage). The parties indicated in the list are divided as follows:
