A spectacular visual tour from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, in France

A magnificent video that covers the French way of Santiago in less than 5 minutes

The French Way of Saint James, today a UNESCO heritage site, is the busiest of the pilgrimage routes to Santiago de Compostela.

'The beauty of Galicia': the magnificent video of a German photographer on the Galician coast
Galicia shown by an American fascinated by its rural world, its coast and its people

For centuries, this has been a route along which many people have walked to the tomb of the Apostle Santiago el Mayor in the current capital of Galicia. Four years ago, Artzi Creative posted a wonderful video with great images of this path, from the French town of San Juan Pie de Puerto to Santiago de Compostela:

Here you can see some screenshots of the video, as a preview. We begin by the Camino de Santiago as it passes through Villafranca Montes de Oca (Burgos), just where the path crosses the Oca River (you can see here on Google Maps where the image was recorded).

The ruins of the Monastery of San Antón, in Castrojeriz (Burgos). It belonged to the Hospitaller Brothers of San Antonio, who provided assistance to pilgrims.

The pretty village of El Acebo de San Miguel, at the point where the path reaches the beautiful region of El Bierzo (León).

Heading this post you can see the Romanesque bridge over the river Arga in Puente la Reina (Navarre) .
