Monday's police charge only made many Spaniards more angry

November 7: the protest against the amnesty in Madrid overflows with thousands of people

Surely the government intended to dissuade people from demonstrating with the harsh police charge yesterday in Ferraz. He was wrong.

Harsh criticism from the Police against the charge ordered by the government in Madrid
November 7: protests against the amnesty continue in several cities in Spain

In addition to receiving harsh criticism from police unions, who have even called for the resignation of the government delegate in Madrid, this police charge has further increased the anger of many Spaniards over the coup PSOE to the Rule of Law, and that has contributed to today's protest exceeding all expectations and managing to bring together many thousands of people in Madrid.

Once again, the protest has started on Ferraz Street, where the national headquarters of the Socialist Party (PSOE) is located. Like the previous days, the Police had fenced off the street. As happened yesterday, the deputy and president of Vox, Santiago Abascal, has joined the protest , while his party called for "permanent mobilization."

From there, the protesters have reached Princesa Street and then Gran Vía, as we see in this video from El Debate.

The crowd has ended up filling Gran Vía, as we see in this video from the journalist Luis del Pino.

This time, instead of charging, the National Police has been forced to make way for the protesters. A very different situation from yesterday, as we see in this video by Vito Quiles.

Among the protesters there have been constant calls to respect the Police, isolating certain provocateurs who wanted a fight. This is a peaceful and democratic demonstration, despite the attempts of the government and its related media to discredit this protest. In fact, protesters have encouraged police officers to join the protest, shouting "Police, join."

Here we can see the Plaza de Neptuno, a few minutes ago, blocked by the Police and full of protesters, just 200 meters from the Congress of Deputies.

+ 10:06 p.m.: A very small group of hooded rioters, I don't know if they are infiltrators or simple extremist right-wing extremists, have begun to provoke the Police and raise the fences and the police have charged against them, this time in a much more contained way than yesterday. As happens when a demonstration is peaceful, the useful fools of the left always have to come to provoke altercations. Of course, at the moment there is no gas firing like yesterday.
