The BNG, ally of Sánchez, boasts of the support of a terrorist group during a public event

The Galician Nationalist Bloc (BNG), a far-left separatist coalition, has once again displayed its fanaticism without disguise.

In the Plaza de la Quintana in Santiago de Compostela, the presenter announced the list of supporters the BNG had at that public event, sending "warm greetings to the friendly organizations of our country who are with us today." At 29:13 in the video, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) is mentioned, followed by shouts of "Palestine will win." You can see that moment here (I've embedded the video so it starts playing at that point):

El FPLP es una organización criminal de extrema izquierda que figura en la lista de organizaciones terroristas de la Unión Europea, Estados Unidos, Canadá y Japón. En el caso de la UE, el FPLP es considerado como una organización terrorista desde hace años, una calificación renovada el 26 de febrero de 2026 en la Decisión (PESC) 2026/455 del Consejo. El FPLP aparece mencionado junto a otras organizaciones terroristas en el Anexo I, punto B, ocupando el puesto número 18 de la lista. El 24 de enero de 2024, la asociación española Acción y Comunicacion sobre Oriente Medio (ACOM) señaló sobre el FPLP:

The PFLP is a far-left criminal organization that appears on the list of terrorist organizations of the European Union, States United States, Canada and Council Decision (CFSP) 2026/455. The PFLP is listed alongside other terrorist organizations in Annex I, point B, ranking 18th. On January 24, 2024, the Spanish association Acción y Comunicacion sobre Oriente Medio (ACOM) stated the following about the PFLP:

"The criminal history of this terrorist group includes bombings, kidnappings, and assassinations, repeatedly targeting civilians. Their latest attack, in 2019, claimed the life of teenager Rina Schernb. In 2001, the PFLP was responsible for the assassination of then-Israeli Tourism Minister Rehavam Ze'evi. The PFLP carried out suicide terrorist attacks and shootings in Israel during the Palestinian terrorist campaign known as the "Second Intifada" (2000-2005), which killed dozens of Israelis and injured hundreds more."

The BNG has been boasting for years about the support of this terrorist group at its July 25th events in Santiago de Compostela. From this blog you can see the articles I published on the subject in 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019 and 2018. What is most astonishing is the media silence surrounding this, despite the fact that this act is public, as is the list of terrorist organizations on which the PFLP appears. Would we see this media silence if a right-wing party in Spain boasted of the support of a terrorist group at a public event?

Furthermore, the BNG also boasted of the support of the consulate of the Republic of Cuba (point 28:48 of the video), a communist dictatorship established in 1959 and in which the Communist Party has been governing for 67 years without free elections, imprisoning and torturing people for political reasons, violating the most basic human rights and plunging the Cuban people into misery.

Furthermore, the BNG also boasted of the support of EH Bildu (point 28:35 of the video), a party that refuses to condemn the 853 murders perpetrated by the terrorist group ETA (including 22 murders of children and babies) and that also refused to condemn the brutal Hamas terrorist attack against Israel on October 7, 2023, in which members of that Islamist criminal organization tortured and murdered unarmed civilians, including children and babies, and raped women. The attack resulted in more than 1,300 people killed, 120 kidnapped, and more than 3,200 wounded, making it the largest anti-Semitic massacre since the Holocaust. On October 7, 2023, the PFLP published a statement on its official website supporting Hamas's terrorist attack against Israel and calling on Palestinians to support that massacre.

Presumiendo de esta clase de apoyos, el BNG está exhibiendo su verdadera idea sobre la democracia y los derechos humanos. A fin de cuentas, hablamos de una coalición cuyo núcleo esencial, la Unión do Povo Galego (UPG), es un partido comunista de corte maoísta. Hay que recordar, además, que el BNG es uno de los partidos que apoyaron la reelección de Pedro Sánchez y que viene sosteniendo con sus votos al gobierno de coalición formado por los socialistas del PSOE y los comunistas de Sumar. Son los mismos que a la vez criminalizan los pactos del PP con Vox, un partido democrático que, a diferencia del BNG, no presume del apoyo de grupos terroristas, no apoya a dictaduras y no se alía (como ya hizo el BNG en varias elecciones europeas) con quienes se niegan a condenar el terrorismo de ETA.
