The emotional US anthem sung by Ukrainian musicians on the occasion of the 4th of July
ESEvery July 4, the United States celebrates its Independence Day. This year he has received a very special congratulations from a country at war.
This morning, the Youtube channel of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted an emotional video of Ukrainian military and civilian musicians singing “The Star-Spangled Banner”, the US national anthem. The video ends with this message from one of the military musicians: “Dear American friends: We appreciate all the support we receive from the United States and today we sincerely wish you happy Independence Day.”
Today, according to the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW), the United States is the country that has sent the most military aid to Ukraine, followed by Poland and the United Kingdom. At a time when Ukraine is fighting for its freedom and independence, and also for the freedom and security of Europe against Russian imperialism, this help from the US is worthy of gratitude.
