A Russian terrorist attack against Odessa to murder paramedics and firefighters

Russia continues to commit war crimes and crimes against humanity in its unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.

This Friday, Russia has once again launched an attack against the city of Odessa. As reported by the Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces, the attack was did with Iskander-M cruise missiles from Crimeaa region of Ukraine occupied by the Russians since 2014.

As on other occasions, the Russian attack has been directed against civilian buildings, including homes. The Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine note that"a three-story building of a recreation center was destroyed, at least 10 private houses, a gas station, a low-pressure gas pipeline, ambulances and fire vehicles were damaged."

In this attack, the Russians waited for the emergency services to arrive to attack again and kill paramedics and firefighters: At 12:22 p.m., the State Emergency Service of Ukraine communicated: "The first responders from the State Emergency Service immediately arrived at the scene of the impact and They began to put out the fire, separate the rubble and search for the wounded. During the work, the enemy fired a missile again, as a result of which the rescuer died."

At 2:13 p.m., the Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces communicated a new part of victims: "According to available data, 14 people died, including residents of the district, a doctor and a lifeguard. 46 people were injured, including 8 lifeguards."

At 15:54, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine communicated an update on the number of victims: "So far it is known that 16 people have died, including an employee of the State Emergency Service. Rescuers arrived to help the victims when the Russians attacked again. 73 people were killed injuries of varying severity. Unfortunately we also have casualties among the National Police personnel."
