The murder of a Christian woman by Muslims did not move the left-wing

The EU refused to debate the persecution of Christians but will debate the Rubiales' kiss

The left-wing continues to impose its most sectarian and aberrant ideological agenda on European institutions, contributing to their degradation.

ERC considers Rubiales' kiss as "violence in sport"

The Europa Press agency reported this morning that on September 14 the European Parliament will debate Luis Rubiales' kiss to a female soccer player, used by left-wing feminism to unleash a crazy controversy and a real witch hunt. The government of Pedro Sánchez has used that kiss to cover up the scandal over its massive reduction of sentences for sexual offenders, through a law promoted by the extreme left faction of the government.

The Rubiales kiss will be addressed in a debate on "violence and discrimination in sport" at the meeting that will be held that day at the European Parliament headquarters in Strasbourg, France. The debate was proposed by the far-left party Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya (ERC), one of Sánchez's parliamentary allies.

ERC supported those arrested for preparing a violent attack on cyclists

ERC has two MEPs in the legislative chamber of the European Union: Jordi Solé Ferrando and Diana Riba i Giner, both attached to the parliamentary group of The Greens/European Free Alliance. It is a paradox that this party wants to debate a kiss as a form of "violence in sports", since just a few days ago ERC supported several separatists arrested for wanting violently burst the Cycling Tour of Spain, through an attack that could have caused serious injuries and even deaths among the cycling peloton.

ERC voted against debating persecution against Christians

It also happens that last year the European Parliament rejected a request to debate the persecution of Christians in the world, a persecution that already had terrible figures at that time: In 2021, 5,898 Christians were murdered for their faith, 6,175 Christians were arrested for their beliefs and 5,110 Churches were attacked, according to data from the NGO Open Doors. In total, more than 360 million Christians suffer high levels of persecution and discrimination for their faith.

The murder of a Christian by Muslims did not move the left

The left voted against holding that debate and shot down the petition. ERC was one of the parties that voted against this debate, requested by French MEP Jean-Paul Garraud, from the Identity and Democracy group. This request came after the murder of the Christian woman Deborah Samuel, beaten and burned to death by a group of Muslims in Nigeria after being falsely accused of blaspheming against Muhammad. Apparently, ERC finds this less important than Rubiales' kiss.
