In 2022, the left-wing vetoed the investigation of 99.8% of these crimes

Sexual abuse against children and the infamous attitude of the Spanish left

On Wednesday we saw here the horrendous crime of sexual abuse committed against a baby who was only one year old in Madrid.

Mutism of the left in the face of the rape of a baby

The rape of a baby by her father and the fact that custody of him and her mother, who was also initially arrested, has been taken away, is a fact that has caused great controversy. Facts like these bring to light the worst of human evil and, as I already pointed out on Wednesday, they destroy one of the ideological discourses that the left tries to promote today, demonizing men in general as if they were the only ones capable of doing horrendous things.

The most curious thing about this case is the silence that is existing among the political class, once again with the sole exception of Vox. We are used to seeing statements from members of the government and leaders of political parties in relation to crimes of a certain type. If the crime can be accompanied by labels such as "machist" or "gender", it is talked about at an official level and the victims receive signs of support online and in the streets. But if the perpetrators of the crime have a certain profile, a veil of silence hangs over them.

The profile of parents that explains the silence of the left

This Thursday Vozpópuli published a news item offering more information about this case. These data shed some light on the surprising silence of our political class in the face of this case. Firstly, the person arrested for raping that baby was born in Venezuela, so he already has one of the characteristics that those crimes that silence certain politicians have in Spain: having been born abroad.

Likewise, Vozpópuli has pointed out that the girl's mother is transsexual: "She defines herself as non-binary trans", notes the aforementioned newspaper. And here we find the second element that silences our political class in the face of such an event: if one of the people involved in a crime belongs to the LGBT community, silence is the official reaction.

Does the profile of the aggressor matter more than the interest of the children?

We have not seen such a response when the person accused of sexually abusing a child, even if the accusation was false, was a priest, for example. Some members of the Church have had their lives destroyed by false accusations related to sexual abuse. In their case, the official reaction was not silence, even though there was no evidence against them. This indicates that in certain horrendous crimes, the victim does not seem to matter as much as the characteristics of the aggressor. Something that is very unfortunate.

Children are the most sacred thing we have in our society. When a child suffers a crime like this, the most important thing should be his protection, and not that the perpetrator has certain characteristics that make him more or less an object of criticism. When we talk about children, the typology of the author should not matter. I don't care if he is an immigrant, a Spaniard, a trans or a priest: a pedophile deserves the full weight of the law to fall on himand all the rejection of our society. But why does this rejection exist in some cases and not in others?

In 2022 the left vetoed investigating 99.8% of sexual abuse of minors

To answer that question, it is enough to look at certain attitudes of some political parties. Last year, the Popular Party presented a proposal to investigate all sexual abuse of minors, regardless of the condition of its authors. The socialists of the PSOE and the communists of Podemos vetoed the proposal because they only wanted to investigate cases related to the Catholic Church, cases that are the most covered in the media - they are always the ones we usually see on television and newspapers- but which only represent 0.2% of crimes of this type.

Taking into account that the PSOE and Podemos are the parties that still govern in Spain, what we have is that the Spanish government parties look the other way in the face of 99.8% of cases of sexual abuse to minors, simply because these cases are not committed by priests. If the crime was not committed by a member of the Catholic Church, the left seems to care less about the case.

Some information about the profile of the aggressors

As noted by ANAR Foundation, in Spain there are social groups in which there is a greater incidence of this type of abuse. For example, 23.3% of abuse is committed by the father; That is to say, there is 116.5 times more likely that a child will be abused by his father than by a priest. Likewise, 1.4% of abuses are committed by the mother. That is, a child is seven times more likely to suffer abuse from his mother than from a priest. Likewise, teachers are 3.7% of the perpetrators of this type of crime: 18.5 times more abusive teachers than abusive priests.

A minister speaks of 'fascism' for not commenting on the rape of that baby

Seeing that a part of the Spanish political class chooses to close their eyes to 99.8% of sexual abuse against minors, simply because they cannot derive political benefit from it, is something scandalous and repugnant. As scandalous and disgusting as what happened yesterday when a journalist asked the Minister of Equality, the communist Irene Montero, for the rape of that baby and for the information that suggests that the mother was part of a trans association subsidized by the Ministry of Equality. "Enough of fascism", was the minister's response. This is the level of the leftist government of Spain. Let us remember that a year ago, Montero said that children can "have sexual relations with whoever they want".
