He exhibits his hostility to Israel from a country allied with Hamas terrorists

The death of civilians, Sánchez and his different yardstick with Israel, Hamas and Russia

For years now, Pedro Sánchez has not hidden his clear ideological bias in international politics, a bias that also applies to wars.

Foolish words and sad silences about the murder of a Spanish woman in Ukraine
The Spanish Iván Illarramendi was MURDERED in the Hamas terrorist attack that part of the Sánchez government has not condemned

The case of the Spanish aid worker Emma Igual in Ukraine

On September 10, 2023, a Spanish aid worker, Emma Igual, was murdered by the Russian army in Ukraine. I say "murdered" because the vehicle in which she was riding, duly identified, was attacked with an anti-tank guided missile . The Russians knew perfectly well who they were attacking. On the same day of the murder, Sánchez published a message in which she did not ask Russia for explanations, country with which Spain has diplomatic relations. The Sánchez government did not request them through any other channel either. I have searched and have not found any statement from any Spanish minister in that regard. Russia has not given any explanation for this war crime.

The case of Spanish civilian Iván Illarramendi in Israel

On October 7, the terrorist group Hamas attacked Israel, killing 1,200 people, wounding 2,000 and kidnapping 253, most of them civilians. Among the victims of the attack were two people with Spanish nationality: soldier Maya Villalobo Sinvany, who was serving near Gaza, and civilian Iván Illarramendi, who was murdered in Kibbutz Kissufim along with his wife Dafna Garcovich.

The death of Iván and Dafna was confirmed on November 8. In the message he published that same day about that crime, Sánchez called the murder of Iván and did not ask for any explanation from the Palestinian National Authority (PNA), which is theoretically responsible for the Gaza Strip and which rewards Palestinian terrorists financially for each crime they commit. Neither the ANP nor Hamas have given any explanation for this crime. Despite this, Sánchez has not only supported the creation of a Palestinian state, but also has showered UNRWA with millions of euros, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, after all other countries withdrew their contributions to that agency for collaborating with Hamas.

The case of the WCK collaborators in Gaza

Things change if we talk about Israel. Yesterday it was known the death of seven aid workers from the NGO World Central Kitchen (WCK) in an Israeli air strike in Gaza. Unlike what he did with Russia and Hamas, in this case Sánchez has indeed demanded explanations from Israel.

Unlike Russia and Hamas, Israel explains itself

Unlike what happened with Russia and Hamas, yesterday the office of Prime Minister of Israel issued a statement stating that the death of the seven aid workers was "a tragic case in which our forces unintentionally attacked innocent people in the Gaza Strip. It happens in war, we control it until the end, we are in contact with the governments and we will do everything possible so that this does not happen again."

Likewise, this morning the Chief of the Israeli General Staff, Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, gave explanations of what happened: "I want to be very clear: the attack was not carried out with the intention of injuring the WCK workers. It was a mistake that followed a mistaken identification; at night during a war, in very complex conditions. It should not have happened." Halevi added: "An independent body will investigate the incident thoroughly, we will complete it in the coming days, we will learn from the conclusions and implement them immediately. We will share, in full transparency, the results of the research with World Central Kitchen and other relevant international organizations."

Israel's response has been very different from that of Russia and Hamas in the aforementioned crimes. It is the difference between a democratic country that responds to the standards of democratic countries, trying to avoid the death of civilians, and two terrorist organizations such as the Kremlin and Hamas, which have been indiscriminately attacking civilians in an attempt to sow terror among the population of Ukraine and Israel.

Sánchez did not ask for explanations from Russia and Hamas but is not satisfied with those of Israel

This afternoon, Pedro Sánchez has stated that Israel's explanations are "insufficient", a very cynical statement coming from a president of the government who never gives explanations for anything and that he dedicates all his parliamentary interventions to attacking the political opposition in each government control session, whatever the issue he is asked about. To make matters worse, Sánchez has said that from Qatar, an Islamic regime allied with the Hamas terrorists.

Weakness with terrorists and cockiness with Democrats

Sánchez's reaction against Israel was predictable. The Spanish socialist leader has been exhibiting weakness with terrorists and cockiness with democrats for years, both inside and outside Spain. Let us remember that in January his government allowed a march in Madrid called by a Palestinian terrorist group, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a very serious event for which his government did not offer any explanation. Coincidentally, the FPLP has links with a party, the PCE, which has two female ministers in Sánchez's government. That explains his attitude against Israel and the different yardstick he applies to that democratic country and to terrorist organizations such as the Kremlin and Hamas.
