Vox has already announced legal action against the perpetrators of the attacks

Spain: Far-left thugs attack and try to run over members of Vox party in Marinaleda

The extreme left has again exhibited today its propensity for violence and its total lack of respect for freedoms.

Nine years of Vox: in Spain it is over for the left-wing to close debates

This noon, the Vox party has organized an event in Marinaleda (Seville, Spain) with its candidate for mayor of that town, Jaso de Alaminos. Marinaleda has been governed since 1979 by the communist Juan Manuel Sánchez Gordillo, a former representative of Izquierda Unida (United Left) and a member of the Unitary Candidacy of Workers (CUT). As usually happens where the extreme left governs, in Marinaleda there is a lack of freedom very similar to that of the Basque towns governed by Bildu.

The members of the Vox entourage have had proof of the situation in that town today. The members of Vox have suffered an attempted run over and attacks with their fists by far-left thugs who accused them of "provoking", a pretext commonly used by the far-left to justify their political violence against the They say something that is not to your liking. According to Diario Seville, the events occurred in front of the town hall. Vox released a video this afternoon showing these attacks:

Vox has commented: "Some point out and others execute. VOX is the third party in Spain and the one that most submits itself to violence from leftist and separatist madmen. Why should the other parties Have you ignored our request to hold free, peaceful elections without acts of violence?"

The video is creepy. In it we see a madman with a dark gray BMW 1 series trying to run over the members of Vox when they were accessing a zebra crossing. It will be easy to locate the madman, since the license plate of the car is perfectly distinguishable in the video.

Next we see a far-left thug attacking a Vox member with his fist, while other far-leftists rebuke and insult the participants in that party's event. It is a clear demonstration of what the far-left understands by freedom and democracy.

Finally, we see that the perpetrator of the punch opens the trunk of a BMW 1 series identical to the one in which he was run over. It can be deduced that he is the same person, unless there are many cars of that type and with the same tires in a town with 2,626 inhabitants. Vox now has announced legal action against the perpetrators of these attacks.

Vox MEP Jorge Buxadé, who went to that town today, with one of those attacked, who has blood on his eyebrow and his face is bruised from the punch.

Of course, all my support for Vox and my condemnation of these attacks. Let us remember, moreover, that two years ago two Podemos ministers who are still in office, Irene Montero and Ione Belarra, justified attacks against a Vox act in Vallecas, Madrid. We have the first government of our current democratic regime that justifies physical violence against its political rivals. When it is the government itself that fuels the violence, these are the results.
