Unusual statement by Feijóo after the pact between PSOE and Bildu in Navarra

In the midst of a socialist coup on the rule of law, what worries you is rescuing socialism?

I have been contemplating the degradation of the Popular Party and its submission to the ideological dogmas of the left for many years.

But even so, I am still astonished to see the president of that party acting as if instead of undermining our democracy, his main concern was to underline socialism or its highest political representative in Spain. They are not my imagination, it is not something I have dreamed of. Yesterday, the president of the PP published a video on Twitter in which he talks about pact between the Socialist Party (PSOE) and the pro-ETA members in Navarra, a pact through which Pedro Sánchez has given the mayor's office of Pamplona to Bildu. Along with the video, Feijóo has written the following:

"The contradiction, the self-righteousness and the double standards that we have seen in the motion of censure that the mayor of Pamplona has delivered to Bildu are already part of the history of the PSOE. Socialism does not deserve to end like this in Navarra strong>."

Here you can see the tweet and the video. In the latter, by the way, Feijóo does not speak of "socialism", but says: "I think that party does not deserve to end like this in Navarra", in reference to the PSOE.

This is amazing. In the midst of a socialist coup against the rule of law in Spain, while socialists trample on our Constitution, degrade our democracy and appropriate all kinds of public institutions, what Feijóo regrets is that socialism He doesn't deserve this, as if true socialism were a good thing.

On the contrary, what socialism is doing in Spain is precisely to be faithful to its customs, customs that have always led it to trample on judicial independence. Let us remember that Pablo Iglesias, the founder of the PSOE, intended to suppress the Judiciary, that is, the Judiciary, in addition to also wanting to suppress the Church and the Army. That guy dreamed of a Soviet-style dictatorship, and he even demonstrated in Madrid in 1919 with a banner that said "Long live Russia", in support of the brutal communist dictatorship of Lenin .

For many years, the PSOE has openly exhibited its anti-democratic attitudes and he even led a violent coup d'état in 1934, after an electoral victory of the right, finding himself implicated in crimes as atrocious like the murder of the right-wing deputy José Calvo Sotelo, which was the trigger for the Spanish Civil War in 1936.

Let us also remember that during that war the PSOE controlled dozens of chekas, detention and torture centers for political prisoners in the style of those used until then in Soviet Russia . It is the same PSOE that tolerated the Paracuellos massacre by his communist allies, and together with the rest of the extreme left, he perpetrated brutal religious persecution against Catholics during that war, with thousands of victims. It is the PSOE that has established a totalitarian law to cover up those crimes and rewrite history to his liking.

I do not understand that a party that claims to be in opposition to a socialist government shows concern about whether the PSOE is harmed by its own betrayals, by allying itself with the heirs of ETA, by miserably trampling on the blood of the victims of that terrorist band. If the PSOE and socialism in general deserve anything, it is precisely to disappear, something that all those who have had to suffer the consequences of socialism in countries like Venezuela will agree on.

If Feijóo and the Popular Party were a real opposition to the left, what they should be doing is everything possible to make socialism disappear. Instead, what they do is propose pacts, share the bodies of Congress with the socialists and submit to the ideological dogmas of the left. At this rate it will not matter that the PSOE disappears: the PP will always remain to occupy its ideological coordinates. What is missing now is for many PP voters to ask themselves what sense does it make to vote for a party that strives to be a clone of the socialists, and not a true opposition party. To fight the battle of ideas against the left we only have Vox left.
